Cympha Cloud is dental file management built around the case — the storage and sharing layer under every one: where uploads land, where colleagues and patients are given access, where the conversation is kept, and where Cympha Studio and the Cympha Agent read and write.
What it does
Eight functions, all on the case record. No email attachments, no USB drives, no re-sending.
Case files
Every upload lands on the case with a label: design, customer, facial, jaw, x-ray, photo and more, tagged by you or by the AI file classifier. Up to 500 MB per file from the browser; a CBCT goes up as one zipped folder.
Straight to storage
Files go directly from your browser or the Agent to storage over short-lived links. Cympha's servers never handle the bytes, so a large scan is as quick as your connection allows.
Share with a colleague
Read-only access by email, no subscription needed on their side, and it works before they have an account. They see the case, download the files and reply in the conversation. They cannot upload. Stop sharing at any time.
Share with a patient
On ortho and aligner cases, send the patient one treatment-plan file by email. They see that file only, never the case, the prices or the lab's thread. Re-sharing updates it; revoke any time. A view, not an approval.
Case messaging (Case Chat)
One thread per case, routed to the right party: doctor and lab, lab-internal, or doctor and patient. Mirror any message as email with a link back to the case, and translate any message in place.
Upload by phone
Scan a QR code on the case, take photos or pick them from the library, and they appear on the case within seconds, with no sign-in on the phone. The link expires after 30 minutes and carries up to 20 photos.
My Cloud
Your file library inside Cympha: folders, upload, rename, move, share by email, open in Cympha Studio, and create a case from a folder. Transit storage, not an archive: files are kept for 7 days on every plan, so create the case before they expire.
Studio and the Agent read and write it
Studio opens any file from a link and can push a revised plan straight back beside the original. The Agent keeps your assigned cases on disk and uploads finished work. From Studio, Create Cympha Case turns the loaded scene into a new case.
Good to know
- Sharing is always to a named email address. There is no public link.
- Only one side of a case needs a subscription; anyone you share with reads, downloads and replies free.
- A shared recipient can never upload to the case. That is what keeps the boundary meaningful.
- A plan can be written back only by the owner of the file or by the patient it was shared with.
- Files that belong somewhere permanent belong on a case; My Cloud is for files on their way to one.
- Case payments settle on the same record, so the money and the work never separate.
