The first AI agent that lives inside a case lifecycle management system.
Aligner cases planned end-to-end, unattended, in your lab's own platform — under your brand, with your margins, on your terms.
AlignerBot is the world's first AI designer that runs as a participant in a case lifecycle management workflow rather than a tool on a desktop. Doctors submit a case to your lab, AlignerBot accepts it, plans the treatment in GuideMia OrthoPlus, and returns the review file for doctor approval — without anyone clicking through a single CAD seat. Other agents in the market move files. AlignerBot does the work.
What makes AlignerBot different from every other automation tool in dental.
Three things no other vendor offers together.
An agent, not a tool
Other Cympha Agents (Cloud Monitor, File Monitor, Upload Agent) shuttle files. AlignerBot is a worker in the queue — it accepts cases, makes design decisions, and delivers a review file the doctor approves. The case sees it the same way it sees a human designer.
Lives on both sides
Runs inside Cympha LMS as a queue worker AND on the lab's customer-side workstation as an unattended OrthoPlus pilot. Same case ID, same review file, same approval flow — bridged by Cympha so doctors never know (or care) which steps were AI vs. human.
Your lab's own auto-aligner platform
A lab that deploys AlignerBot can accept aligner cases from any clinic, run them automatically, and keep the margin and the customer relationship. No SaaS rebrand, no vendor lock-in. There has never been such a thing in clear-aligner manufacturing before — until now.
One workflow, dozens of decisions, one button per step.
AlignerBot drives the GuideMia OrthoPlus Happy Button — the one-click AI gate that finishes each stage of a treatment plan.
OrthoPlus splits orthodontic planning into ~30 progressive steps: occlusion plane → fix jaw models → crown boundaries → base model → tooth segmentation → post-processing → alignment → movement plan → attachments → aligner generation. Each step ends with a Happy Button. AlignerBot pushes them, in order, until the case is review-ready.
Occlusion plane
GuideMia's AI engine creates the datum plane from the upper and lower jaw scans.
Fix jaw models
Mesh cleanup, hole-fill, smoothing — every defect in the scan repaired before downstream work.
Tooth segmentation
Crown boundaries extracted, teeth segmented, mesial-distal axes set.
Post-processing
Crowns refined, roots created, interproximal gaps calibrated to within 0.2 mm.
Tooth alignment
Occlusion plane and arch curves adjusted; an initial alignment plan generated; preview and finalize.
Movement plan
Upper-jaw and lower-jaw tooth movements proposed across staged steps.
Attachments & aligner design
Force ridges added, attachments placed, aligner models and trimming paths generated for every stage.
Review file ready
AlignerBot uploads the review file back to the case in Cympha. The doctor reviews, requests changes, or approves — same flow as a human-designed case.
Every Happy Button is reviewable. A human can step in at any stage to override AlignerBot's decision; the rest of the pipeline picks up from there. Nothing irreversible is ever decided autonomously.
Stand up your own automatic clear-aligner platform.
Cympha + AlignerBot is the only stack that lets a lab give its customers a true auto-aligner service.
Until now, automated aligner pipelines have been monolithic SaaS — labs route cases to the vendor, the vendor designs, the vendor brands, the vendor owns the customer. AlignerBot inverts that. The lab installs AlignerBot on its own workstation, advertises an aligner service to its own clinic network, and uses Cympha as the case-management layer that connects the two.
Doctors submit cases through your branded Cympha workspace. AlignerBot accepts and runs them. You keep the design margin, the doctor relationship, and the data. Cympha just powers the connection.
Your brand, your customers
Doctors submit to your lab in your Cympha workspace. AlignerBot's work delivers under your name; the vendor (us) stays invisible to your customer.
Per-case economics
Pay per case processed. Aligner volume scales independent of headcount — one workstation runs up to 8 cases in parallel, 3 by default.
Human-in-the-loop where it counts
AlignerBot runs cases unattended, but your designers can step in for complex plans, sign off on AI-proposed movements, or take over from any step. The case knows who did what.
Self-improving over time
Every reviewed case feeds back into the system. AlignerBot's plans get better the more your team approves, rejects, or adjusts them — without you handing your IP to a third-party model trainer.
How to enable AlignerBot
Four steps to turn your lab into an automatic clear-aligner platform.
- 1
Subscribe to GuideMia OrthoPlus
AlignerBot drives GuideMia OrthoPlus to plan every case end-to-end. Activate an OrthoPlus subscription on your designer workstation — once licensed, the same machine can run AlignerBot against unlimited cases.
Get OrthoPlus → - 2
Register on Cympha as AlignerBot
Sign up on Cympha and pick the AlignerBot role at the onboarding step. Then subscribe to Cympha — that's what lets your AlignerBot account accept cases from any doctor who chooses your lab.
- 3
Install Cympha Agent Manager
Download Cympha Agent Manager for Windows and run the installer. On first launch it pairs to your Cympha account — this is the bridge between OrthoPlus on your workstation and the case queue in Cympha.
- 4
Start AlignerBot from the tray
Right-click the Agent Manager icon in your Windows system tray and pick Start AlignerBot. The agent is now listening to your Cympha queue and idle until a case arrives.
Done. When a doctor submits an aligner case and chooses your lab, the case files download to your workstation automatically, AlignerBot drives OrthoPlus through the full treatment plan, and the review file uploads back to the case for doctor approval — without anyone touching the workstation.
Review and finalize the design
AlignerBot drafts the plan; the doctor adjusts it in the browser; you ship the final design.
An initial AI treatment plan is rarely the final treatment plan. Doctors want to nudge a stage, swap an attachment, retime a movement. AlignerBot is built around that loop — the AI does the heavy lift, the human keeps clinical control.
- 1
Initial plan uploaded to Cympha
The moment OrthoPlus finishes designing, AlignerBot pushes the plan file straight back to the case in Cympha. Status flips to Awaiting Approval and the doctor gets a notification — no email, no shared drive, no file-naming.
- 2
Doctor reviews in Cympha Studio
From the case page, the doctor opens the plan in Cympha Studio — the browser 3D workstation, with no install. They spin the model, step through every aligner stage, and adjust tooth movements, attachments, and staging right in the browser. Works on a tablet too, so they can review chairside.
Open Cympha Studio → - 3
Adjustments save back to the case
Every edit the doctor makes persists straight to the Cympha case — not exported to a separate file they have to attach back. The adjusted plan is saved as a new revision alongside the original AlignerBot draft, so the case carries both and you can diff them at any time.
- 4
Finish: automatic re-run or manual polish
AlignerBot can pick the adjusted plan up from the queue and re-run the downstream OrthoPlus steps unattended — the doctor gets the updated review file and approves. Or your designer opens the adjusted plan in GuideMia OrthoPlus on the workstation, polishes by hand, and saves it back. Same case, same flow, whichever path you choose.
AI for the heavy lift, doctor for the clinical call, designer for the finish. Three roles compounding — no one waiting on email.
